Two Week Guitar Building Workshop
Students make a guitar from a kit pre-bent sides and parts will be prefabricated to allow completion of the guitar during the two week workshop. Students will receive instruction on finishing in the French Polish technique and may attend demonstrations of how the parts they used were fashioned. An accelerated introduction to guitar building. This is a very popular course. Students will build their own guitar from parts prepared for them. Machine usage inlay work and philosophy of craft are covered as well as minor fret dressing, nut and saddle making as well as how to properly setup your guitar.You will also receive a tutorial on French Polishing enabling you to apply a finish at home.
